Dev Kumar Dev Kumar grew up in Alaska and Texas before moving to Los Angeles to attend the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), where he studied electrical and mechanical engineering.

Dev took up photography as a serious hobby in early 2007 and began to publish his work in the same year. He also dabbles in graphic and industrial design.

His hobbies include sailing, SCUBA, rafting, kayaking, and anything else outdoors. He loves cooking and dining out, with interests in food, cocktails, and wine.

He now lives in Los Angeles, California with his wife, writer Summer Block Kumar, and their two dogs.
